Learning more each day that life is about service. Service to God, and service to people.
Learning more each day that life is about love. Loving God and loving people.
Learning more each day that life is about giving. Giving to God what He has already given to you, and giving to people rather than holding back to yourself.
Learning more each day that friendship is important. Because it’s beautiful and good to surround yourself with godly, positive people who love you. It’s a beautiful thing to not stand alone. For scripture says ‘Two people are better off than one’ (Ecc 4: 9 – 10). If you fall, I help you up because I love you. And if I fall, you help me up because you love me.
Learning more each day that life is about forgiving. Forgiving others because you already have been forgiven by God.
Learning more each day that life is about being kind and selfless, because that way, you’ll be a lot more happier.
Life doesn’t last forever, so why hold a grudge against your brother?
But much more than ‘life not lasting forever’…why hurt your own soul by storing up so much resentment in it? Jesus said ‘If you refuse to forgive those who hurt you, your heavenly Father will not forgive you’ – And I hope we know that cannot change.
I’m learning more each day that Joy is really important. It strengthens. Because it takes a strong person to choose to be joyous in a world where there aren’t always happy days.
I’m learning more each day that the way to get more is actually to give more.
I’m learning more each day that the way up is actually to be humble.
I’m learning more each day that the more I give myself away to God, the more I find that part of me that I’ve been looking for.
I’m learning more each day that the way to know more is actually to admit that you know less…by having a teachable spirit, and a meek heart.
I’m learning more each day that the most beautiful people aren’t the ones with the most perfect physiques; but they are the ones with really good hearts & character. They are the ones who know who they are, and are confident about it.
They are the selfless ones.
The kind ones.
The meek ones.
The ones who are content with who they are.
The good ones.
The humble ones.
The gentle ones.
The ones who are sincere with themselves.
The ones who love truly.
The ones who want peace.
The ones who love to be real.
The joyous ones.
The ones who want to be faithful.
The ones who choose to endure.
These people know that they are imperfect. But they also know that they are being perfected by God. These people know that they have quirks, and yes, they admit it.
These kind of people are real. These kind of people are beautiful inside out. And I feel like that’s what life should be about – being beautiful inside out, letting God change you on the inside, so that whatever change He’s made on the inside can also reflect on the outside.
BEAUTIFUL INSIDE OUT.
I wanna be that girl!
